Every good figure drawing starts with gesture — the fast, loose lines that capture how a pose moves before you worry about how it looks. This session is all gesture, all night: quick sketches from a live model, then building those gestural lines into more finished drawings.
Artist Jordan Maier guides the room start to finish — Seasoned drawers welcome. Rusty drawers welcome. If your last figure was a stick: This workshop is literally where that changes.
Bring Your Own Supplies — charcoal or pencils, an 18×24 newsprint pad, a board if you have one.
