Michelle Peterson-Albandoz builds in wood at a scale that changes the verb: you don’t look at these constructions so much as stand with them. Alongside the sculpture, the East and West galleries fill with furniture and functional art by Paul Schultz and others — some pieces pared down to minimalist basics, others gloriously over the top. Brian Zahm’s video runs through the show, giving all that wood a moving counterpoint. And a first for the gallery: jewelry & wall hangings by Jennifer FitzGerald, small work holding its own in the gallery.
